Cincinnati Children’s is offering a live, online Q&A

During our event, Sarah Fox, DPT, and Megan Wittenberg, BSN, RN, and Maria Obermeyer, APRN, will provide an overview of pelvic floor physical therapy and biofeedback and answer questions in real-time.

Sarah Fox, DPT

Sarah Fox is a physical therapist who specializes in Pediatric Pelvic Health. She has served patients and families at Cincinnati Children’s Hospital since 2013 and has been part of the Multi-Disciplinary Motility Clinic (MDMC) Team since 2016. Sarah earned her Doctorate of Physical Therapy from Tennessee State University in 2009 and simultaneously achieved her Leadership Education in Neurodevelopmental and related Disabilities (LEND) training at Vanderbilt University. She is Cincinnati Children’s expert physical therapist in Pelvic Health and works closely with Colorectal, Gastroenterology, and Urology divisions. She utilizes a spectrum of interventions to achieve patient and family goals including posture training, core and pelvic floor muscle stabilization training, muscle coordination training, optimal breathing techniques, sEMG biofeedback, manual therapy, creates bathroom schedules, bowel and bladder hygiene, patient and family education, and customized home exercise program development. Sarah believes in an evidenced based, full body approach to evaluating and treating children customizing each child’s care to their specific needs.

Megan Wittenberg, BSN, RN

Megan Wittenberg, a Colorectal Center Registered Nurse, graduated Cum Laude, from the Good Samaritan School of Nursing, Cincinnati, in 2015. She brings three years of experience on a medical-surgical floor that cared for patients having various surgical procedures and gastrointestinal diseases.  She joined Cincinnati Children’s Colorectal Center in July of 2018.
